"Me and my husband both agree this was one of the best places in which we ever spent our holiday. Clean and cozy family rooms, nice pool (which our 5 year old adored), quiet atmosphere in the evening, good breakfast and above all, great hospitality. Eleonora and her family took excellent care of us,helped us book a tour and rent a car and even buy some local produce. The home cooked food was delicious, especially the bread, fresh from the oven. We felt like we were visiting relatives, not staying at a hotel, and we loved the evening conversations by the pool with out hosts. The walk to the nearest shops and beach is around 10 -15 mins, which we easily managed even with our 5 year-old. There are also some nice restaurants in the area, ranging between 15 to 30 mins walk (at the pace of said 5-year old). Thank you for everything, take good care and see you on our next trip to Crete!"

"Once again the family that run this hotel has looked after me and recharged my batteries - As a fat lass with gout it's more of a toddle than a walk to the beach and it takes me exactly 3 minutes from my room to beach lounger- the local eateries (about half a dozen ) are about 10 minutes toddle away - I like taking the coast path walk to the big town of hersonisos this is a lovely scenic walk around the bay and I have tried to capture it and upload the views - this is a flat shoes walk and takes this said fat lass about 45 mins but a fitter person would manage it faster. I've eaten there late and walked back in the dark but I should probably have taken a torch or used the road! As a solo traveller it's lovely to know that someone is looking out for you - one day I did a long walk then dozed off on a swing on the Beach at the nearest bar and got a message - Eleonora was worried about me - I'd been gone a long time and it was very hot - that personal service is why this Greek hospitality is beyond all star ratings for me. The hotel is clean - breakfast good and daytime food and drink by the pool very cheap - Eleonora will cook you some Greek specialities if you ask -she arranged a quad for me at mates rates and a lovely sunset boat trip - getting me collected and dropped off from the hotel. This hotel is not big or luxurious - if you want somewhere to wear your tiara or walk home from the club in your stilettos this is probably not the place for you- but if you want genuine Greek hardworking people caring about the guests that visit- and doing whatever they can to make your stay enjoyable then it just might be ......"

"We stayed in this hotel for 6 nights. Arriving at the airport very late, we took a taxi to get to the hotel, which is about 20km from Heraklion airport. The streets leading to the hotel are all poorly lit but unfortunately it is a peculiarity of the area. Arriving on site we found the owner of the hotel who was waiting for us to give us the keys to the room, a very spacious room on the ground floor. The hotel is very nice and characteristic, with a nice swimming pool and deck area. The breakfast is very generous and you can find freshly made waffles every day! The hotel is located 3 minutes from the beach and the center of Annisaras (full of bars, markets and car rentals) and 10 minutes from the center of Hereonissos. The area is very quiet and relaxing, super recommended especially for families. Clean rooms equipped with all comforts. Thanks to Eleonora and her family for their kindness and chats. A hug also to Locco, the best and most cuddly pit bull in the world !!"
